Insomnia causes in children

Nowadays suffering with insomnia in Children is more so than in years gone by. At one time the world was filled with children that went to bed around nine or ten o’ clock, these days children are staying up for hours on end. Naps are out of existence for many children nowadays since the world has progressed to a hasty lifestyle were even adults are affected immeasurably. At one time, a few hundred people maybe suffered insomnia, these days millions are enduring sleepless nights.

Childhood insomnia is believed to be caused by two main reasons: the failure to allocate and keep a bed time for a child is the most common, and can often turn into insomnia for a child will not be able to create and develop a sleeping pattern. Therefore it is essential for the parents to maintain on a bedtime hour and also ensure that it is followed consequently.

The second reason for childhood insomnia is also known as sleep onset association disorder and it occurs due to the absence of a familiar object or activity that a child may have developed with time such as a blanket, watching television before sleeping, rocking, singing at bed time and so on.
